I wasn't planning on writing anoter WalkAbout post quite so quickly after the last one, but it's been so beautiful out and the dogwood trees are in full bloom, sooooo I couldn't help it. This was more like the post I had planned to do before Nanook took me in a different direction.
The dogwood blooms are just sooo gorgeous and I have been wanting to get pictures of them for awhile now, but I just kept missing them. Today my family and I were out at the playground and I spotted one of these trees, so I took full advantage of it. I couldn't decide which one to use so I am posting my fav 4.

White Balance - upped the pink saturation
All were with the same settings as above. I was in the groove and going with it :).
I wasn't necessarily going for the soft, "angelic" look, but I LOVED it once I saw what was in my viewfinder. As far as post editing, honestly it was NOTHING. A few clarity clicks for online viewing, but that is it! I was so excited about that! I didn't even want to mess with them.
God's beauty is so amazing! Happy St. Patrick's Day, hope you had as good a day as I did.

Those are gorgeous photos! And I'm so jealous that you're trees are blooming so early!
