Wanderlust Wednesday - Minehaha State Park

Minehaha State Park is in the city of Minneapolis, basically right in the city limits.  It's a gem of a state park too.  Minnesotans LOVE their outdoors and it shows in this fun, easy to walk around park.  It's absolutely fabulous because you have these beautiful natural areas that you can get to and walk around in during your lunch break.  There is even a waterfall!  When we were there the drought had taken it's toll and the waterfall was pretty non-existent unfortunately.  The natural areas were still there for you to use though and we really enjoyed walking aroubnd the park.  We were able to rent bikes and bike around the park, which was a lot of fun.  We even got to see an albino squirrel!  You can read about him here!  That was pretty cool!
